<p class="C1">&#65279AJAB SI&#7748GH (d. 1705), son of Bh&#257&#299 Man&#299 R&#257m, a R&#257jput Sikh of 'Al&#299pur in Mult&#257n district, now in Pakistan, came to Anandpur with his father and four brothers, and received the rites of initiation at the inauguration of the <u>Kh</u>&#257ls&#257 by Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh on the Bais&#257kh&#299 day of 1699. He remained in Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh's retinue until his death in the battle of Chamkaur on 7 December 1705.</p>
